colonization\/destroying colonization. I&#8217;m mainly focused on Central American (Mexico to Colombia) colonization and the invisibility of indigenous people. I aim to break down and inform myself on my understanding of colonization while \u201cvandalizing\u201d images of colonizers. I&#8217;ve always been interested in exploring my identity through my work, and this is specifically about my Hispanic-American heritage.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start to Savannah, GA I was able to witness the beautiful empty blue skies that fill so much of the landscape as it&#8217;s so flat and the architecture isn&#8217;t tall. This weaving is of all the beautiful skies that I&#8217;ve been able to witness. captures a perfect memory. It&#8217;s from a video I took of my dad picking me up at the end of my first year of college. This view is from my 14th floor dorm which held mostly bad memories. But an instant glimpse of my dad made those problems melt away.
